This laptops display was good. Its processor is also good. So it's comfortable to use.

This Laptop is good for daily uses.

I am a computer tech and bought two of this model for a client.
GREAT VALUE for the $$$$$.
OLED Display is very vivid.
Backlit keyboard is a nice touch.

After setting both of them up, I am very impressed with the performance.
These perform as good or better than a $1700 Microsoft Surface Pro 9
I set up last week AND IT DOES NOT RUN HOT like the Surface 9.

Highly recommended at the sale price of $800.00.

Excellent value for the specs and the $800 price!

The OLED screen is so vibrant and the 12700h performance is pretty good. I managed a 30k score on 3DMark06, for example. But it still needs to feel more solid - it says it is military grade but feels more on the flimsy side to me.

Also, for a laptop of this thickness, I thought more expansion slots might be available. It is still a good performer for sub-1k price point to get 12700h along with OLED but would have loved to see a version with, say, 13650hx to make up for lack of discrete graphics...

Keys feel like they will wear out sooner but a media keyboard can solve that issue. 65W power supply is the biggest plus here as this CPU+OLED combo ends up being quite a green choice from that standpoint. Laptops with discrete graphics need at least 150W so this is a welcome change.

Decent for a laptop in this price range

The screen quality is very good. Battery life is not great which is quite disappointing. Have last years' model, and this one, and neither battery life is very good without being permanently plugged in. Defeats the purpose of having a laptop..

OLED - Great screen quality

Bought this laptop for work less than 2 weeks ago and already regret my decision, will be exchanging it for something with a little more battery life. Reviews show battery life lasting up to 6-8 hours. On mid-brightness, I get about 3hours tops. The energy saver is useless, not sure if it registers properly as the battery life indicator decreases when it's on. Would NOT recommend this unit to anyone who's looking to use a laptop away from a plugin for more than a few hours as it will not hold up. Don't be fooled by a good sale price ($899).

Other Notes:
The laptop performs well and is quite fast, with great multitasking ability, and a fingerprint reader for instant accessibility. The screen is 1080HD resolution and looks clear and crisp, although when turned off, the screen has a warped appearance, and reflections are distorted. not a deal breaker, but an interesting thing to note if you're looking at buying this.

Good PC, Horrible Battery Life

Reasonable price, very good quality and image resolution.

High Performance

I bought this on October 26 and almost immediately noticed pain in my eyes after looking at the screen at low-ish brightnesses. But this can be somewhat rectified by maxing brightness on the monitor and then adjusting it with MyASUS manually every time you want to change the brightness. Very annoying system.

The laptop itself is decently fast with the i7, the fingerprint reader is super quick, the webcam is alright, there are enough ports (no ethernet if you needed that for some reason), the speakers are good, the trackpad is nice and huge, the keyboard is nice (except the arrow keys), it doesn't heat up too much.

On November 29 I turned it on, plugged it in, and it suddenly went black. No charge indicator, no backlight, no response whatsoever. Took it to best Buy, they said if I want to recover the data I will not be able to return it anymore because it requires opening the back. I returned it but lost any data still on the laptop.

Eye strain from OLED, bricked after 35 days.

This laptop is slow. The screen went black just setting it up (windows update) and only hard reboots would fix. Still, its a slow machine. The OLED is OK but not great. Its fuzzy. I have oled TV. Its not fuzzy. Battery lasts just 1.5 hrs. Wifi is slower than every other device I have, never reaching the top speeds or near it that other and older devices are getting. Sound is terrible. For the price I didnt expect a TOTL speed demon. However teh wifi perfomance, fuzzy screen negating oled benifits and extremely poor battery duration make this a return for me. Better than chromebooks and not much else at this price so If I couldnt spend more I'd keep it but ... I think spending a little more will provide benifits making this one a waste of money. Its not the worst machine but excels at nothing. The two biggest reasons I am disappointed is the overall fuzziness of display and battery. Of course, I am also not pleased the wifi performance is not up to par with older devices. It tops out about 400mbps where other devices get 600 plus on my 750 connection. Perfectly usuable speed but why cant it get full speed? Crappy 201 network card thats why.
