I had this laptop for less than a month and based upon its current performance, I must say it runs quite smooth and fast. The color of the laptop is quite modern and slick. For the moment being I would rate it a 5.

IdeaPad Slim 5 (16” AMD) - Abyss Blue

I can't rave enough about Lenovo. I've had 4 devices, some have taken a beating and kept on working. This one is very fast - a good upgrade to the ideapad I bought 5 years ago. I love that it has tons more memory and an upgraded processor. I know it's not the top of the line but I'm really impressed with this thing considering the reasonable price tag. Very sleek - the metallic blue sure is beautiful.

Love the laptop. Very fast, slick looking, nice color too. Lots of great features especially love the fingerprint unlock feature

Great laptop

This is an ideal laptop for most people. It gets the job done for document creation, web browsing, video streaming, and light gaming. The design is very sleek, giving a suave business look. Very durable feeling, though the hinges ever so slightly creak when opening/closing which worries me a bit. The speakers could be a whole lot better, but this isn't much of an issue if you use headphones. No issues with keyboard and trackpad; would prefer a higher nits and sRGB but not splitting hairs there. Battery life is decent, and if you use it mostly on AC then you can utilize the conservation mode feature. Overall, great laptop!

I like this computer - it does all the stuff I need it to do in fine fashion. Looks nice as well. Good price too, I think.

I kept waiting for a good discount so much I knew it was worth it.
Color is amazing, I've had 2 of them (I returned one in store because it was cheaper here)
I sort of want to say they don't all have the same colors?
The previous one was closer to teal than blue but my current one is def closer to blue than black. Both really pretty.
On the one I got on discount, there seem to be some impairment on one of the foots, causing it to "swing" downward a little bit when I press on the inferior right corner. Nothing dramatic.

Perfect for students and smooth multi-tasking

Love the color. The only drawback is it is a finger print magnet. The large screen is perfect for multi tasking between school work and note taking. The touchscreen makes catching small details easy by two finger zoom and also making my work flow more fluid. The large keyboard fits my large hands well. Game mode is awesome and cloud gaming works fantastic for role playing games. I get to see my system performance in a snap while gaming. Does everything I need great.

Really needed this!

I am very satisfied with my purchase. Lenovo has always been my go to for laptops. I love the operating system. It is very user friendly for someone who is not tech savvy!!! Love the size of the screen and clarity. Has both touchscreen and keypad which is very handy also. Lightweight compared to the other Lenovos I have had. Love the slim sleek design and the color....not that that is that important. LOL Would definitely recommend to others.

Nice laptop

The speed of the laptop is great. Multitasking is not a problem. The screen clarity is very sharp. The battery life is less than overwhelming. Not as advertised.

Solid laptop for home use !

The laptop is working well, with a nice HD screen. Decently fast for usage at home. Unique color. A bit heavy, but if you don't move a lot, then it is nice

Does everything that I need. Screen has excellent clarity. Backlit keyboard is very visible. Excellent value.

Ideapad slim

Needed a second laptop to replace a 10 year old model. So much faster. Good colors in the screen. Has two regular USB ports and two USB-C except one is used as the power source for the laptop. This unit does not have the traditional power brick as older models. This one has the power unit of the cord at the outlet plug like phone chargers.. Make sure you have a space for its shape on your surge protector.

Good value. Perfect size for most uses. Trackpad response is good. Nice backlit keyboard feels good. Screen is good. Has a touchscreen which is handier than I expected for some applications.

It's a fast laptop. Very powerful. I wish it had Thunderbolt or USB 4. Also doesn't have a fingerprint reader. The CPU and GPU and upgradable RAM made it worth it for me. The screen is bright and high resolution and it has a very respectable number of ports. Nice gaming laptop. Keyboard RGB looks nice but is only 4 zones instead of individual keys, still cool. Solid 4 star laptop.

It's fast and powerful, missing a few things

Perfect for traveling! Super light, bright keyboard, clear screen resolution, and the thinnest laptop I have ever used. Processing speed allows for seamless browsing on multiple tabs while running business applications without issue. I would highly recommend.
