My review star rating has everything to do with my experience using the laptop. I’ll provide cons below that in no way, shape or form will change my star rating.

First of all, it’s light weight, sleek, and looks great. From key tap to mouse scroll, it’s responsive. I’ve utilized a fair share of laptops and MacBooks and this by far has some of the most comfortable typing layout from palm rest to soft keys. Second, performance for the buck is nice. Yes, 8gb of ram. Yes, 6gb of graphical memory. But remember, you’re not dropping $1200 on a gaming laptop. Another stick of 8gb ddr4 laptop memory is cheap. A kit of 32 gb laptop memory is also cheap. A laptop that includes that ram spec costs north of $300-$400 more. Of course the GPU is not upgradable, but the triple A titles my son has thrown at it have handled exceptionally well.

My only complaints are windows 11 and the preinstalled bloatware, and the fact that the GPU is only 6gb. I knew about the 6 gb going into it, therefore I’m not docking a star. What I didn’t know was how terrible windows 11 was. Immediately after setting the laptop up and allowing my son to play a few games for about 2 days, I wiped the storage drive clean and installed windows 10 64 pro. Performance is night and day both in general use and video game performance. Of course more RAM may aid in win 11 performance, but the overall experience of windows 10 is similar to that of windows 7 vs windows vista. Vista flat out sucked!

Overall, both my son and I are happy with this purchase. Merry Christmas to him!

TLDR:
Awesome machine for the price (when on sale) I would say it beats basically any general use laptop at the same price (I paid 680). Easy to upgrade. No real bloatware.

I just got this a few days ago but so far I love it. I have Upgraded the Ram. I play some light games and a few being older AAA games. I mainly got a gamming laptop for occasional gaming and mostly productivity when I'm away from my home pc that can take on modern AAA games. It has a very clean look and its not in your face gaming laptop with only a few blue designs on the heat sink and LOQ logo in the corner on the top.
Pros:
Its fast for most general use.
Very Easy to upgrade the ram and storage.
The Screen is pretty decent.
The wifi is pretty fast.
Built in storage is very good for the price.
Nice looks and style.
Cons:
It can not handel really intense modern games.
Does not have the most amazing screen.
It can get loud when gaming but a pair of headphones took care of it.
No RGB Keyboard
Meh:
Does not have the longest battery life but its good enough for most everything.

Not the most powerful for sure, but great for casual gaming. I did not buy it for the superpowers, those are thousand of Dollars, this is a good combination of hardware for a game night on Diablo IV, or Immortal or Tomb Rider, combined with a dose of Bioshock Remastered, they look great and run smooth as butter on this laptop. Super snappy for browsing the web and Office apps.

This is a lower end (supposedly) model and so far it has exceeded my expectations. It is primarily used to play Baldurs Gate 3, run Spotify and lend some of its time crunching numbers for the World Community Grid. The display is quite bright and makes BG3 look great. The sound when the fans ramp up is still a bit loud. The company that figures out how to make laptop fans quiet is going to make a mint.

So Far So Good - Has Exceeded expectations so far.

Delivered on time. It was a great deal in terms of price and performance. Played gta V, rainbow six siege, just cause 3 on highest settings without any issues. Chassis looks pretty fancy and on higher end. Speakers are more than enough. Display is beautiful.

Great price/performance machine

Amazing laptop. Great screen quality. And for the price 100% worth it. Couple sticks of 16GB ddr5 5600MHz solves all ram issues out of the box. you can achieve a better laptop ,for the price of this laptop plus added price of ram , than you can any other model they are selling right now if you are on a budget. Would be 5 stars if it came with at least 16GB ram for this 749.99 price as it is advertised as a “gaming” laptop

I got this computer for work and something cheap but upgradable. It has a great graphics card and it's me the best part is that I can upgrade everything later on in the future if I wanted to.

you could check this how you want it but I wish you can adjust the color of the light on the keyboard.

Even though there's a button to turn off your webcam I wish they had a cover over it vs a button.

the battery is good, if you're not playing games. if you are playing games, it's gonna drain so quickly maybe an hour of gaming without charge.

I had it when it was on sale for $600 and at that price it is worth it. But regardless of the price, it needs RAM upgrade to take advantage of the full potential of the laptop. Only comes with 1 stick of 8gb DDR5 at 5200 mhz, but because it works in single channel mode it operates at 2600mhz speed. It has 2nd ram slot free, so you can install another stick of 8gb or 16gb, if you want to save some money you can buy DDR5 4800mhz and it will still work fast enough.
It also has a second slot for SSD so you can add more storage 1 or 2tb drive.
The display is very good at 350 nits brightness, nice colors and 144hz refresh rate, that's one of the best parts of the laptop.
The audio quality is disappointing, the speakers are small and the loudness is not enough. With headphones is better but it needs to be tweaked through the Nahimic software, and that means that you always have to carry the headset with you. The Nahimic software doesn't work out of the box, so you need to download and run the Nahimic restore tool, or uninstall and download again from the Microsoft store.
The Core I5 CPU is not super fast but good enough for RTX 3050.
The RTX 3050 has 6gb VRam and works at 95w power draw, so the performance is very good but because it only has 8gb system ram it pushed 82fps average on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, where on the same video card but with 16gb system ram installed it pushed 87fps average.
So when the laptop is upgraded and the price is discounted enough on sale it's a good option.

I bought this a few weeks ago on sale and it is an absolutely incredible laptop. It is very very fast even with the 8gb of RAM (I upgraded to 32gb myself) it comes with. The 1080p screen looks really good, it is very crisp and literally looks like it's 1440p, I was really surprised by it, not sure what technology they use to do that. You need to change some settings in Lenovo Vantage and Nvidia control panel to make sure you're always using the discreet GPU (RTX 4050), and turn some power saving settings off to get the maximum performance out of it. I assume the bad reviews are because people don't know how to do that. It comes automatically using the CPU for graphics instead of the GPU out of the box. Make sure you change the settings and download the latest nvidia GAME READY driver. I'm super happy with it, it is as powerful as my living room desktop (Ryzen 3900x and GTX 1080) that I use to watch 4k movies and play games. It also doesn't look ridiculous with all the crazy RGB lights and stuff even though it's very powerful, which I like. This is excellent for gaming/video editing, or every day basic use, not sure why everyone doesn't get a gaming laptop like this. I thought 1080p might not be enough, but the screen is so crystal clear it looks just as good as my 4k setup with my desktop and TV, very surprising. The dlss and frame generation on the RTX 4050 are a godsend, I can run any game and it looks great. One thing is the battery life isn't super long when you turn the power saving stuff off, but as long as you're near an outlet it doesn't matter, I bought it for the performance, and it was totally worth it. Would recommend for sure!
